Obituary of Francina Koonce

Francina Koonce, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2022. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Koonce was born on December 27, 1946, to Mary and Carlton Rivers. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Koonce was employed as a x-ray technician. She was proud to have worked for Johns Hopkins Medical Center for 44 years. She will be missed by her family. A viewing will be held Monday, January 31, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. The celebration of her life will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Zion Baptist Church, 1700 N. Caroline Street, Baltimore, MD 21213. The wake will begin at 10:00 AM. The burial will follow the services in Baltimore Cemetery.
