Mama, I'm going to miss you dearly, but I'll keep with me the memories of when we lived together. What I remember the most, are the wonderful meals you cooked (your Stew Peas and Rice was the BOMB), the laughs (whenever you would dance) and your endless life lessons (you were Full of wisdom). Thank you for helping me with Jalen and supporting me no matter what. I'm beyond Bless to have had you as my Grandmother. Love you.

Mama! Mama, our Mama. You are a one-of-a-kind grandma. What I love most about you, is nothing could stop your love for your family from shining through. There was no sickness, no pain, no mental struggle, NOTHING that kept me from knowing you loved me. 2019 Thanksgiving, this grown woman had the chance to take a nap by her grandmother who made room for her. You tapped the empty space next to you and told me to come. I laid there and fell fast asleep, a woman still needing her grandmother. A woman comforted by the life of her Mama laying next to her. I woke up rested and felt so incredibly blessed to still have you.
Now distance doesn't have to be a barrier to know my Mama can lay next to me. I am praying you are now getting the greatest love and care none of us could provide or imagine for you. That God, our Father, tends to you in ways no one was capable to do while you were here with us! I know you are basking in His glory--pain free, trouble free, struggle free--just plain ole' FREE!

My beloved Grandma, "Mama".....I miss you so much. You have thought me without even knowing you were teaching me life's lessons. I will forever cherish the moments we slept together and chit chat before falling asleep, driving together, laughing together. You are such a precious lady.
