I remember when Delores was at my wedding, almost 3 years ago. She saw that Matthew and I kept separating to meet with different guests, and she and Ruth Ann conspired to ring their glasses whether they could just so we'd have more time together at our reception! Mostly I remember how kind she was, and how wonderful she was with the little ones when I was her assistant. She was one of my favorite people to talk with at FFC after church, especially my last year there.

Ms. Golder You will be miss from the infusion center it was a pleasure to have you as a patient. I remember one day you came in and you just had a look on your face I ask you were you ok and you said I just don't feel good. I went around the desk and just sit down beside her and wrap my arms around her some times that's all you need no talking just to be held and she said that's was all she needed and it felt so good. God puts us in places at the right time. And I was glade I was there. Much love to the family, She is heal and in no more pain. Be bless.

I have known Delores for almost 20 years. I will always remember her kindness towards me, my family, and especially my sister, Kim, who was suffering with cancer. Delores was a dear friend with a big heart. I know she’s in heaven with all her loved ones, and I’m sure Kim was the first to greet our wonderful friend. I’ll miss you, but we will meet again. Delores will be missed. She had one of the kindest and gentlest spirits I have ever met. She helped my wife Kim and I to raise 3 of our children. When our kids started school they had an excellent knowledge and understanding of their colors, numbers, and alphabet. She was more than a daycare provider for us, she was family. So much so that our children called her “Nana”. Rest in His arms now Nana, we love you.

I always thought my Aunt Delores, aka Joanie Girl, was the prettiest woman that I'd ever known, even if she was the first person I ever saw cook and eat okra. She always stood up for me when I would get in trouble. Her quiet strength always comforted me. She let me go to my first teenage house party. I could talk to her about anything. I feel so honored to have had her in my life growing up. My tears are tears of thankfulness for knowing such a phenomenal and beautiful woman.

To Delores' family:
Praying God will comfort and strengthen you and give you His peace. I'm thankful she is no longer in pain, but I'm going to miss such a wonderful encouraging friend and prayer partner. I'll miss her hugs, smiles and genuine concern. Her prayers and frequent text messages helped me get through my brother's ordeal with cancer and his home-going. She was still praying faithfully for others even when she was extremely ill.
I know she is with Jesus and I will see her again.
