In loving memory of my uncle Dockie. Gone but never forgotten!
A man of God's word. You preached it, and you lived it. Rest until we meet again were fear and death will be no more, and life everlasting.
May the Lord give his family and friends strength and peace in this difficult moment! God bless.

I didn't have opportunity of meeting pastor Ezra Sterling but I learned about him through his son Ordale Sterling (my immediate neighbor) that he was not only a believer but a servant of God and a minister of Christ. I praised the Lord because I heard that bishop Sterling fought the good battle of the faith and stood fast in believing to the end. May his life be inspiration for the Church he led and his biological family. This is an occasion to remind to all of us Revelation 14:13 "And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, “Blessed are the dead— those who die in the Lord from this moment on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “ they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them.” Let us live for the Lord and serve him all a long our live.

In Loving Memory of Bishop Ezra Nehemiah Sterling
I am fondly remembering my mentor and friend, Bishop Ezra Nehemiah Sterling - an humble man and much-admired leader of great faith, integrity, and wisdom who touched so many lives with his boundless love and Godly example.
We met about 12 years ago through the Kingdom Intercessors International Ministry where he was a great leader, preacher, teacher, and treasurer. My sister, Gale Pines-Nicholson, Pastor Pauline Prescod, and Pastor C. Michael Williams were co-founders and leaders, and I served as the Women's Ministry leader.
I am also remembering the hospitality and warmth that my family and I received from Bishop and Lady Bevolin Sterling and his congregation at a revival at his church, the Fountain of Faith Gospel Church, in Baltimore, MD. It was a blessed event!
Over the years, Bishop Sterling and I have fostered a mutual friendship based on admiration and respect that I shall treasure for a lifetime!
To Lady Sterling and family, know that my family and I are praying for your comfort, peace, provision, and strength during this difficult time.
I will surely miss my friend, Bishop Sterling; however, I feel confident knowing that he will be welcomed into the Gates of Heaven as a good and faithful servant by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with loving, wide-opened arms.
Peace and blessings and much love,
Missionary Phyllis Pines Garnett,
Minister Gale Pines Nicholson, and
Mother Lavada Pines and Family

Pastor Sterling was the definition of a disciple. He breathe the word and love of Christ and was a true light to all. He will truly be missed. His broad smile would light up any room he walked in and he would not leave without praying. The last time I went to church was at his church before the Pandemic and he was so happy to see me.
You light will forever shine and I know you are resting well.
Suzette, Sarai and George
