Obituary of Willie James Woods Sr.

Willie James Woods, Sr., age 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Mr. Woods was born on April 7, 1945, to Elizabeth and Leon Woods, Sr. He had been employed as a maintenance supervisor. After serving our country in the U.S. Marines Corp, he was honorably discharged. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Homegoing services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, September 17, 2021, at Israel Baptist Church, 1220 N. Chester Street, Baltimore, MD 21213. The wake will begin at 10:00 AM. The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
