JOE James is a friend, classmate, and long time family associate since I first attended the 6th grade at Elmer A. Henderson elementary school PS#101 back in 1963. That’s a long time for 2 urban dwelling Black men to have been on the circuit together. I will miss my every 6-7 weeks long distance Baltimore updates from Joe, but I’m blessed to have so many more unique contacts, that I will cherish that much more to carry on these valuable connections with our friends and family still in the city. Joe was one of only 3 people to call me “El-Rod”, and now that leaves Yarborough and Schroeder. Rest easy our friend.
