Ms Nanton was my son Kellen’s special education teacher at Garrett Heights Elementary. She coined the phrase we still use about him when he is pleased, “Butter melting in his mouth”. She never allowed the kids to bully him and always saw his potential. She had patience and a calm and confident demeanor. Condolences to her family and friends.
