I don’t know where to begin. This one really took my breathe. I will always remember who taught me how to do hair when you hired me as a shampoo assistant in 1987. I learned so much from you not just about hair but about life. When I moved to GA, we always stayed in touch and I called you for anything from hair to marriage counseling. You were my sister and my friend and my heart is in so much pain. Kim I have soooo many memories and they are all good, like being the 3rd wheel with you and Mechie going to Georgetown just to eat bubble bread at Houston’s when I was pregnant. You will always hold a special place in my life and my heart and I will always love you. Rest Peacefully!!!

My condolences and prayers goes out to Kim’s family, especially to her husband, her son and grandchildren, who she loved in a very special way. My heart is also broken too because I met Kim 38 years ago when she started doing my hair, my daughters and then my granddaughters. Although, I moved to Philadelphia years ago, I never stop coming to her to get my hair done, I am surely going to miss her dearly. Kim was a very lovable, friendly and caring person. I will never, ever forget Kim. She was an absolutely beautiful person. I'll never forget in March of this year I had told her that I had a taste for Krispy Kreme donuts but there wasn't any near my house in PA. The next week when I came to get my hair done she had brought me donuts. She was so thoughtful. I miss seeing her weekly. Condolences to the family.
