Obituary of McDonald Chestnut

Mr. McDonald Chestnut, age 85, the beloved husband of Flossie M. Chestnut went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 20, 2021, in Upper Chesapeak Medical Center. Mr. Chestnut was born in Clarendon County, South Carolina to Alice and James Chestnut on July 25, 1935. Prior to retirement, Mr. Chestnut worked as a postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. Homegoing services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 11, 2021, at Friendship Baptist Church, 6000 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21239. The wake will begin at 10:30 AM. The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
