Obituary Charles Sullivan, affectionately known as Tubby was born to Elizabeth Stewart and Julius Sullivan on July 28th, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. He departed this life suddenly on May 1st, 2021 to go home to be with the Lord. Charles attended the Baltimore City School system and later acquired his general education diploma from Dundalk Community College. While there, he extended his education and successfully completed various computer and photography courses. He then studied at the Baltimore County Training Administration in modern maintenance technology which provided education in the fundamentals of pneumatic and hydraulic power. Charles retired after 42 years of service at Bethlehem Steel as a steel worker and coordinator. He worked very diligently to give his family a great life. While there, he joined the Steel Workers of America and petitioned President George Bush regarding undesirable overtime pay regulations on behalf of American workers. This petition received attention from local government including Barbara Mikulski. Charles married his wife Gloria, February 10th, 1968. From this union of 53 years they have two daughters, Selena and Karen. He was a very dedicated husband and father who loved his family deeply. He never hesitated to show it through his words and his actions. To his friends, family and other relatives, he was a soft-spoken person that was very engaging and fun to be around. He loved to have a good conversation and to tell a joke or two. Charles was an avid coin collector. He also enjoyed photography and photo development in his spare time. A super-fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens, he loved to attend their games. He liked to read how-to books and fix or upgrade things around his home and for others. He was also an active member of the Transformation Church for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Gloria Sullivan; his (2) daughters Selena and Karen Sullivan; (1) brother Kevin Sullivan; (2) sister-in-laws, Mozell Wilson, Glendora Lee-Robinson; (1) brother-in-law Julius Lee (Sara Lee); (4) aunts, Carolyn Harris, Barbara Fews, Eunice McClean and Rosa Julius; (3) uncles Billie Phillips (Wanda) , Ronald Phillips and John Jay Julius; (7) newphews and (9) nieces (38) grand-nephews; (17) grand-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
