Jeffrey and Gregory, I am so sorry for the loss of your Parents. They wee very pleasant and awesome Parents who loved their children. I will miss their smiles and the energy they portrayed and everything they did. I first met Marva becoming a member of the NALC Auxiliary #47. She gladly assumed the position as President when our long time President, Mrs. Mamie Foster decided to retire. We didn't skip a beat with our order of business and she served proudly. I miss her so much, but GOD needed her more. My Love and Prayers are being sent to the family. I will continue to pray for you all and ask that you continue to rely on HIS strength and comfort as you continue the journey that you Parents have established .GOD Be With you all.

To Jeffrey, Gregory and Family:
I met Marva in 1993 when I relocated to Baltimore and volunteered for Girl Scouts. Once I became the Program Coordinator, Marva was very instrumental in giving encouragement. I know the young ladies loved to listen to her stories and her advice. After I left Girl Scouts we would talk sporadically and she would keep me up to date.
When I heard about Marva's and Sam's departure, I was saddened but know they left a huge print in everyone's life.
May the loving arms of God be your comfort during this time. Thank you, Marva and Sam for your contribution to this world.

Aunt Marva will be sorely missed. She was indeed the backbone of the family always ready with good advice, a warm laugh, and loving concern. She often called to check on me these last few years, and I will always cherish her calls and care. There was and will be no one quite like her.
