Fannie Lee Gregory, age 94, of Baltimore, transitioned Friday, February 19, 2021 in Carroll Hospice at Northwest of Randallstown, MD. Ms. Gregory was born May 22, 1926 in Waynesboro, VA. A public a viewing will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD from 4:00pm until 7:00pm A Private Homegoing service for Ms. Gregory will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Obituary Fannie Lee Gregory of Baltimore, MD went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2021 after a short illness. She was born on May 22, 1926 in Waynesboro, VA to the late John and Dora (Peters) Arkward. She completed her education in the Waynesboro school system and later travelled from city to city living in Chicago and Philadelphia and later settled in Baltimore where she was affectionately known as "Gypsy" due to all of her moving around. Fannie was married twice, first to James Lowe and her second marriage was to Edward Gregory. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at Evangelical Baptist Church (EBC). She was a member of the EBC Mass Choir which was her ministry for Christ that she loved. Everyone knows that she loved Christ, her choir, Pastor, First Lady, members of her EBC family and most of all her family. She often would dream about Christ but was upset that she could never see his face in her dreams. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters and her granddaughter Brenda Renee Cason. She leaves to mourn her sister Ernestine Carter, 3 daughters Elaine "Cupcake" Robinson, Victoria Gilmore (Rafiq) and Sherry Johnson (Eric); 5 grandchildren Linda Moody (Donald), Dereck Brown, Timothy Byers (Angela), Tyana Johnson and Eric Johnson Jr; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
