Obituary of Apostle Henry Alston

Apostle Henry Alston, age 76, the beloved husband of Josephine Alston went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Union Memorial Hospital. Apostle Alston is a native son of Charleston, SC. He was born on January 21, 1944, to Jestin and Aaron Alston. Apostle Alston was a bi-vocational pastor. He had been employed in the hospitality industry prior to devoting all of his time to the ministry. A viewing will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The homegoing service will be held 2:30 PM, Monday, February 8, 2021, in Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East Chapel. The wake will begin at 2:00 PM. The burial will take place 10:45 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, in King Memorial Park.
