Dear Ruth and family,
I am so sorry about the passing of Aunt Dorris. She was a very special lady. I met her when I was a teenager, when Uncle David brought her and the family to Philadelphia to stay with us. I remember you as a baby.
She talked to me and my sister Bea about dating. I remember the conversations that summer she was with us. We used to sit outside on the steps at night because it was so hot. I remember how gracious she was when me and Bea spent the night while visiting Baltimore. She went to church with us the next morning. I enjoyed talking to her when I called her. She was never too busy to talk to me. Love you, your cousin, Claretha
