Loretta was One of my Morgan State angels. I had the pleasure of working with her as a work study student in the work study office...that office was like family with her kindness, wit and love. I loved that she still worked at Morgan Too And I’m sorry I didn’t get to see her again this year at Morgan as we planned. She will live on In my heart and memories. Prayers up for sterling, the family and all who love her. I love you Lolo and You will be missed.

Loretta, your light, smile, love of music, travel and fun will be sorely missed. You were a wise and beautiful soul. I thank God for the times, chats and giggles we shared. Your sudden departure pierced my heart and soul. You will be forever missed my dear sister.
To Sterling and the other members of Loretta's family, I extend my sincere condolences and pray that God soothes, comfort, restores peace, joy and healing to your hearts, minds, bodies and souls. Please reflect on the many and fond memories that you have of her and less of the pain of her departure. Comfort one another, accept the love and support of people who are familiar with Loretta but personally unknown to you. Love and support comes not only from those we know personally but from others too. Remain steadfast and do your best as you journey through grief. Remember that grief is not your final destination but a necessary road at this time to travel. Take one step at a time, cry often, pray more, breathe deeply and continue to carry out her legacy of love, laughter, wit and a desire to live life abundantly.
With heartfelt love,
Sharon Tyson

Ma'am,
Although it's been a while, I will surely miss you around the lunch table smiling, laughing, and sharing with the crew at our Montebello round tables. Your kindness was remarkable and your humor was shared in truth. You have danced in my head from the day of me hearing of you leaving us, but through Prayer I know we shall be healed of the whole in our hearts. You will definitely be missed and never forgotten, dear.
Colossians 3:14
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony

It is with a saddened heart that I give my condolences to the family of one of my dear and loving friends! I loved Loretta like my very own sister. She was my roommate for a few years at Morgan State University. Throughout the years we remained friends. I am so very happy for the times that we shared. I thank God for the privilege of knowing and sharing my life with such an awesome individual. I am going to miss my friend however she will forever be in my heart! Rest In Peace my “Sister for life”! Love you Lo Lo!
