Obituary of Claudius C Allen

Claudius "CC" Christopher Allen, 65, passed away on November 20, 2020. He was born in Catonsville, MD and was the son of the late Reverend Donald H. Allen Sr. and Mrs. Anna Allen. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Grace A.M.E Church. CC graduated from Catonsville Senior High School in 1974 and attended Morgan State University and Catonsville Community College. He was also a veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy. A lifelong native of Baltimore, CC worked for various companies in the local area such as Computer Data Systems, Inc., Baxter Health Care Corporation, and Kmart. CC was a devoted son, and a caring man who often expressed himself through his writings and poetry. He was a very thoughtful and loving person. He loved music, his favorite being jazz and R&B. He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Donald H. Allen Sr. and brother, Donald H. Allen Jr. He is survived by his mother, Anna Allen of Catonsville; his aunts, Elvira Gosnell and Thelma Mclean; his sister-in-law, Cathryn Allen; his nieces and nephew and their spouses, Sandra (Fred) Dansby, Angela Schaeffer, Donald (Andrea) H. Allen III, and Jacqueline (Morgan)Browning; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services on 5151 Baltimore National Pike , Baltimore, MD 21229. The wake will be from 11:00 am to 11:30 am with funeral services starting at 11:30 am. Interment will be at Arbutus Memorial Park on 1101 Sulphur Spring Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21227 following services.
