Roxey (Momma Rock as I would call her) was a kind, endearing person. Roxey was always there....always. Knowing Roxey for over 50 years has been a blessing in my life. How quickly time goes by.
We were family at work- not blood but as close as you could get to it. We made and shared many memories, laughing, crying, happy times, sad times. We shared life. Doesn't get any better than that. I smile thinking about her.
Joe and Chris, Your Mom and your Dad will be by your side through this life watching over you and your family. God gave you 2 very special people as your parents.
This is an example of a "Roxey". Many years ago, the hem ripped out of my skirt at work....a little embarrassing being younger then. "Rox to the rescue"! Roxey immediately got her magic tape and taped up the hem of my skirt. We laughed because that tape lasted for many years through the washer and dryer. Rox was always there.
I look forward to seeing Roxey again. Until then, we will continue to share the light that Roxey left on this earth.
