Marc Moore, Sr.

Obituary of Marc Anthony Moore, Sr.

On April 20, 1989, Marc Anthony X. Moore, Sr. was born to Mark Anthony H. Moore and Kim L. Sanders. He was loved by his parents and was a loving son, and a loving brother to his siblings. Marc primarily grew up in Edgewood, Maryland. He graduated from Chesapeake High School in Essex, Maryland. Marc had a very charismatic personality and was always able to make friends, many of which became life-long companions, including Kirstin who he loved and was always there for him. As a child, Marc would often accompany his grandmother to church. It was through her that Marc learned to appreciate the power of prayer and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Marc would stop by her house to ask for prayer and would often bring friends with him for prayer as well. As a trade, Marc was a skillful barber and worked in local barber shops. He never passed up an opportunity to cut hair for those who were in need. No matter what the time, day or night, Marc always seemed to have a pair of clippers handy and ready to go. He met Melissa (Missy) while working at Sounds and Cutz barber shop in Essex. Their working relationship grew into more than a friendship and out of their relationship, Marc, Jr. was born. Marc, Jr. was Marc Sr.'s pride and joy. He always shared pictures and videos of every achievement his son made, big or small, and he joyfully bragged about how well Marc Jr. was doing in school. Marc was preceded in death by his brother, who he loved dearly, Troy D. Biggus. Marc leaves to cherish his memory, his son Marc Anthony X. Moore, Jr., his father, Mark Anthony H. Moore, his mother Kim L. Sanders, his step-mother, Felicia R. S. Moore, his step-father, Kenneth D. Sanders, his sisters, Iyliyya L. T. Young and Savannah M. R. Moore, his grandmother, Mother Shirley E. Moore, his uncle, Nathan Moore, Jr., his best love and soul mate, Kirstin A. Briscoe, his son's mother, Melissa A. Brown as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends. On Friday, November 6, 2020, services for Mr. Moore will be held at Vaughn C.
