To Marcus, Jr., Aaron & Josh...My heart goes out to you in the loss of your father, Marcus Xavier Parks, Sr.
I taught Marcus, Sr. @ Lake Clifton Easter Hugh School. He was an exemplary student. Always respectful. Marcus, Sr. was an around good guy and a joy to teach & know!
I do know he loved to play and watch basketball games.
The last time I saw Marcus, Sr. was when he started working for Maryland Department of Transportation. Of course he was his usual self...mannerable, polite & happy go lucky! During our conversation, I observed how mature he had become as he spoke of being successful & securing his place in society with all the responsibilities that came with them.
Marcus, Jr. Aaron & Josh...Do know that your father’s legacy will always be with & in you.
Embrace It!
