Jennifer Greene was a beautiful spirited person and she loved the Lord dearly and quoted scripture often. I've known her since we were 8 years old and in the same 3rd grade class together. What irony I encountered when upon meeting her on her first day in class as a new arrival, that at the end of the school day when walking home, having taken different paths, we arrived at our separate destinations only to find that we were next door neighbors. At that point I was immediately smitten as a young child.
Over the years (59 to be exact) we became fast friends and our two families (siblings and parents) were like one big family. Her mother and father and mine, had four children each, with Jenny's older brothers, Mike and Greg (deceased), being big brothers to me. Mike even "knighted" me with a childhood nick name that has followed with me well into my adult life. To this day my childhood and college friends still know me by that corny nickname.
Jennifer and I lost touch about 30 years ago and in August 2020 reconnected over the phone when she had heard from a mutual friend of the death of my Brother In-Law. However, as fate and irony would dictate, our reconnection unknowingly would be very brief, when she informed me that she had suddenly taken ill and was trying to recover. On September 3rd, I wished her a speedy recovery and she happily received it. On September 17th I received word from my sister of Jenny's passing. I was devastated to the point of unbelief. I hung up from the call with my sister and immediately called Jenny's cell phone (twice), but received no answer. My call, she did not and could not answer, but when God called her, I know in my heart that she happily answered His call and ran to Him with open arms!. Glory Be to God In the Highest!
To Mike and Ingrid "Ingie", her remaining siblings (and part of my family), and to the friends of Jennifer Greene and her family, I convey my sincerest condolences on the loss of someone who was and always will remain dear to my heart. May God Almighty keep you all in the hollow of His unchanging hands. Amen.

Jenny,
We go way back to the Antonio's days. You brought joy and laughter to the shop. We had so much fun talking and laughing on the rides home after church on Sundays! You were our girl and we miss you!

Jenny is a pure joy and will be sorely missed. When I spoke to her last on September 1st, she told me that she was so sick the week before but feels better and wanted to return to church, not the coming Sunday but the next Sunday my husband did not work as he was her ride home. That's the weekend she transitioned. Missing you already Jenny!

Sincere condolences to Jennifer’s family such a lovely and kind lady. She will be truly missed by the First Charity Baptist Church family. Every Sunday we set on the same side and I loved seeing those big beautiful locks of silver curls in her hair and that loving beautiful smile on her face. Always a joy to greet her because she displayed so much love and compassion for others. May God continue to comfort you as you continue to cherish her memories.
