Obituary of Alvin Wesley Turner, Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we share that our adored husband, father, grandfather and brother, Deacon Emeritus Alvin W. Turner, Sr., passed away peacefully, on the morning of September 4, 2020. Deacon Emeritus Turner was a retiree of Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Sparrows Point, Maryland and a longtime member of the First Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church. The public viewing will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD (21212). The Celebration of Life Service for Deacon Emeritus Turner will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, in the Chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD (21212), where the family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 1:45PM.
