Marvin was a very dear friend from Ceridian. His smile and laughter would bright up your day. Marvin was always non-sense, but he had a heart of gold. You will truly be missed. RIP Marvin

My deepest and Sincere sympathy go to the family of Marvin.
I grew up at 3719 Cranston Ave. As kids and growing into young men we often would meet in the back ally, behind our houses where the garages and later Mr.Chases upolstery shop was located.
It was there we would play, ride bikes, shoot BB guns, and even throw acorns and rocks; Mike's arm was so good he once threw a acorn at me, half a block away, and swole my eye: That didn't stop us from being friends. because "Boys will be Boys.
Mike was the first to get a mo-ped in our neighborhood it is in the ally behind the house he proudly showed it off. Later, as we began to mature; we would talk of future plans of High Schools, Colleges, job desires and so much more. Finally we moved on to our adult lives and lost touch.
It is always a good and warm feeling when I think back to growing up in Edmondson Village and the people that Helped to shape us into who we are. It is always a good feeling when I think of the many persons that I will always call friend even if I don't see them anymore. Marvin (Mike is what we called him) is one of those persons who will forever be a part of who I am. I am saddened to hear he is no longer on this plane of life with us, However I do believe there is more after we close our eyes for the final time. It is in this belief that I find relief and counsel that God is in charge and we will see him again!. I will always fondly remember Marvin Jones(Mike)! Rest in Peace Friend!
