We remember Barbara as a kind special lady. She was the Girls Scout leader and worked with the boy scouts. She will always be thought of dearly and thoughtfully by our family.

I met Barbara when my son,Joseph was in Kindergarten at Govans Elementary School through his Godmother,Janice. She and his Godmother rode to work together. She gave Joseph a ride to school everyday and then he joined the Boys Scouts.
Barbara had a good heart and a sweet spirit. She was very devoted and committed to scouting. Barbara treated my son just like family. He shared a lot of family memories with her sons.
She helped my son develop life skills, character traits, and goals. My son achieved the scouting highest rank of Eagle Scout. Because of Barbara’s teaching, kindness, love, and devotion my son has become a strong successful Black Entrepreneur.
Thank You
Your love and support will never be forgotten

Your Life was A Blessing, Your Memory A Treasure, You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Barbara will be greatly missed but her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.
Barbara and I were both Baltimore City Educators. We met when my youngest son joined Boy Scout Troop 496 at the age of six.
Barbara and I worked side by side with our sons and other scouts as we began our journey. Scouting was Barbara's second FAMILY. She worked to make scouting an adventure for the whole family. She helped the young boys develop skills and character traits that would benefit them for the rest of their lives. Whether it was going camping, or celebrating the achievements of earning badges, she was involved 100%.
Barbara's sons, along with my son, and dozens of Troop 496 scouts, achieved scouting highest rank of Eagle Scout. " What a proud moment". Barbara continued working with our Troop well after her sons reached their goals. Because of Barbara's
devotion, commitment, and love of scouting, these young men have grown to become strong, successful and educated Black Men.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after have gone THE LIGHT REMAINS"
LOVE YOU, MISS YOU, AND YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART.
