I haven't seen Courtney since we were in middle school. Although I'm 53 years old I still think of her a lot. I wish I had the stones to tell her that I had a crush on her. I'm not on any social media so I'm just learning of her passing today. I wanted to say there are many people that she affected in life, I am one of them.

Staci and I go way back before she had Davon. I remember when I lost my son father to gun violence in 2004. When my son turned 1 all of my girlfriends including Staci was there to support me and my baby at codorus state park. We had a ball. She loved the water and when I say we ran around just as we were children again. My bother played boys chase the gurl and everything. We have a lot of great memories but that was the fondest one. She supported all her friends and that’s what I’m going to miss. Reaching out just to talk and vent. Giving me wardrobe advice to just her telling me I need some me time. I wanna ask God why but I already know the answer to that. He need his angel more in heaven than on earth Prayers to her Her one and only child/son. Davon and his wife Monuea Stay strong for each other. It won’t be easy but each day it gets a little better. Sending my deepest condolences to the family and friends. I will always love you until we meet again. Rest In Peace my butterfly.

To my newest heavenly angel Stacey,
As I gathered my thoughts on what to say about you, the word ANGEL comes to my mind. On earth you were my oldest cousin, my big sister and my best friend that protected me since the day Lee brought me home from the hospital. Well God has transition you from my earthly angel to my heavenly guardian angel. My human side wants to cry forever but my spiritual side says “Save my seat next to you, pop and aunt Nell when I’m called home”. In the meantime, I still have work to do for our family so keep pushing me because I still need you. Thank you for loving me to the ends of the earth and now loving me straight from heaven.
