When you experience the loss of a loved one, especially a parent, you grieve openly and receive the sympathy and condolences of many family and friends. Each of us experiences loss in different ways. With Tom’s transition, the pain is lessened when we cling to the happy times, the celebrations, and the warm exchanges. For surely Tom is at peace forever.
How blessed was he to have the devoted care of my Goddaughter, Valerie, and her sisters, and the selfless care of their mother Celestia, until his passing. Our sincere prayers for all his children and extended family.

Grieving is never easy when our love ones move on beyond where we can not physically see or hear from them. Therefore, now in tears, I am believing through faith in Jesus Christ that all is still well with our souls.
Yes, I took the car ride ☺ in the red black striped SS Chevelle early one morning on Old Halifax Road in Jarratt Virginia. I will never forget the grin on Uncle Tom’s face when he throttled the gas, smoking the tires and pushing me back into the passenger seat. He will forever remain the Uncle to whom I respect and admire. Know that you are in my prayers and I am here for you.
Love,
Royal Jones
