To Ricky, Rod, Randy and your entire families. Please know that we dearly loved your Dad. He was quite the character exhibiting his wonderful sense of humor and his love of family in every encounter he had with us. I am particularly remembering the kindness he showed to my mother (Eula) and my Aunt Norma in their final years. He would often stop by to visit or to take the two of them out for lunch or to some event he thought they might enjoy.
Whenever he was around the room would undoubtedly be filled with laughter as he always had jokes. Marvin’s welcoming spirit whenever we visited his home was truly genuine and he loved to have family and friends over to enjoy the pool and the comraderie of family and friendship. We always enjoyed having him over for holiday dinners at our home, enjoying one another’s company into the wee hours of the morning.
I know how dearly he loved his boys and how proud he was of the men you’ve all grown to be. And though your hearts are heavy at the loss of your Dad, take solace in the knowledge that you had one of the great ones. Strom and I extend ourselves to you all during this unhappy time. But we are certain you will find the joy inside your tears. God bless you cousins. Linda and Stromie
