Obituary of Homer Andrew Ervin, Jr.

Homer Andrew Ervin, Jr., beloved son of the late Homer and Mattie Ervin, was born on January 4, 1938, in Baltimore, MD. He was the second born of eight children. Homer married Dorothy Mae Michell on December 15, 1962, sharing over 58 years of commitment and devotion to one another until his passing. On Friday night, the 15th day of May in the year of our Lord 2020, Homer was called home to rest. Grace was extended to him from the Master, and peace was given unto him from God. In his early years, Homer was a great leader to his family. He molded and guided his siblings into which created great joy and a sustainable bond they shared for years to come. A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 2:30 pm until 5:00 pm at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD (21212). A celebration of his life will begin at 11:30 am in Vaughn Green Funeral Services Chapel. The wake will begin at 11:00 am. The burial will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
