Mr. Walter J. Smith, age 94, of Huntsville, AL, transitioned Saturday, June 20, 2020 in Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Smith was born March 12, 1926 in Virginia. He was a Quality Control Engineer at the Quality Inn. Mr. Smith also served in the United States Navy from 1944 until 1946. A public viewing will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133). The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Smith will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133), where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
