Obituary of Reddrick B Rouse

Reddrick "Pops" Rouse was born on September 5,1945 to the late Alexander and Juanita Rouse in Whitesville, North Carolina. Reddrick departed this life on May 25, 2020. Reddrick was a retired Military Veteran who served in the Vietnam war, receiving two purple hearts. He was also a Master Mason, maintaining the highest degrees in the organization. Reddrick was well known in the community and loved by all. Everyone knows Pops. He had a great passion for basketball and helping the kids. Reddrick would always say "May The Work I've Done Speak For Me". When it came to his entire family, he was a loving and devoted person. He truly loved his grandchildren with all his heart. With Reddrick family was most important and his friends were an extension of his family. He would give you the shirt off his back. Reddrick lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by all. Reddrick was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Juanita Rouse; his sister Minnie R. Miller; and his grandson Marcus McDowell. He leaves to mourn with cherished memories: His loving Wife, Delores N. Rouse; two children, Anthony McDowell and Renard Rouse; seven siblings, Betty M. Freeman, Henderson M. Rouse, Frankie Rouse, Lindon Rouse, Gene A. Rouse, Beverly J. Fernell and Sarah Powell; three grandchildren, Jordan McDowell, Reggie Rouse and Imani McDowell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
