Obituary of Blanche Clement Wade

Blanche Wade was called home to be with the Lord. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Clements born on April 20, 1933. Blanche attended schools in Amelia, VA. She also attended training in Richmond, VA as a secretary and received a certificate. Blanche accepted the Lord at an early age. She was baptized and a loyal member at Liberty Baptist Church in Amelia, VA. Blanche worked in VA before coming to Baltimore. After arriving in Baltimore, Blanche worked at several businesses, just to name a few: Moses Kahn Department Store, The Social Security Administration and for the State of Maryland. She later retired from Social Security where she was employed for 28 years. Blanche became a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she worked as a secretary under the leadership of the late Pastor McCoy; she also worked for Pastor Alvin Gwynn at the church. Blanche was a beautiful, loving person; with a mild soothing spirit. She loved to bowl, which she did for many years at AMF Bowling in Pikesville. Her husband, Louis Wade and her two sons, Louis and Maurice proceeded her in death.
