Obituary of Alexander Emmanuel Brown

Alexander Emmanuel Brown was born April 25, 1987 to C. Renee Kitchen and the late Jerry A. Brown Jr. in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed suddenly after answering the Lord's call on Monday, May 18, 2020. Manny, as he was affectionately called by all who knew him, was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. He was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools System. Manny was a proud graduate of the George W. F. McMechen High School. At an early age, Manny accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was baptized at Whitestone Baptist Church, where he was a life-long member. Manny was a special soul. He brought sheer joy to everyone who met him. Manny was a people person. He loved to talk and socialize with anyone who would listen. He would often grab your attention with a hand way calling you over or "whoo hoo" to spark conversation. He had a way of being the center of attention with his joyful spirit. Most importantly about Manny was that he loved the Lord. He used all his talents for the glory of God. He enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart, the Word Channel and other church services on television. Manny even watched church in Spanish! He utterly loved church and his church family. On many Sundays, you could catch Manny directing the choir from his seat and singing with the soloist. He just could not get enough and often shouted for the choir to continue. Manny had a host of pastimes to include hanging out, music, singing and movies as well. Some of his favorite movies like Sister Act I & II would be found on repeat. He really loved ties, beads and hats. Manny enjoyed food and family. He especially looked forward yearly to going to the Maryland State Fair. The fair had everything Manny loved- people, food, music and fun. The life and memory of our dearly departed Manny will be cherished by his mother, C. Renee Kitchen; grandmother, Ruby L. Wilson; his siblings, Rakia Kitchen, Brian Kitchen-Davis, Unique Davis & Teriyaki 'Teri' Thonotosassa; his niece, Alana Christian; his nephew, Christopher Williams; his 2 aunts, Yvonnia Jackson & Tyra McCall; 2 close cousins, Kevin Griffin & James Powell; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends
