VICK KEVIN SMITH SR was born on October 31, 1964 in Baltimore, MD to the late Frances Belton and Vick Caesar Smith. He departed this earthly life to join our Heavenly Father on May 14, 2020. Vick was the 2nd eldest of four. At an early age Vick was baptized, however his faith in God never waived. Later in his life lead him to rededicate his life to our Lord and Savior at Celebration Church on Monroe Street. Vick was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Mergenthaler High School. Vick was a very accomplished wrestler during his high school years. He took great pride in his wrestling skills which he acquired multiple trophies. After graduation along with his 1st love Pamela Blount came his only child and name sake, Vick Kevin Smith Jr. He was so proud of him and would not miss an opportunity to share his son accomplishments as well as the man he has become. He had a strong genuine love for his nieces and nephews and never missed an opportunity to joke and share his stories of wisdom. Vick took on the role as a stepfather to Sharnice, of which he took great pride in doing. Vick enlisted in the United States Navy serving from 1984-1986. Upon return from tour, he was employed at Sherwin Williams, Bethlehem Steel, Pepsi Cola and later worked in the field of Auto Technician which was his passion. In the early years of the 2000's he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to start anew. He was very well rounded when it came to cars. Whenever asked, called upon or urgently needed he would not hesitate to help anyone especially with repairs to a vehicle. He started his own auto repair shop in Georgia "Dunn Deal Auto Repair". The name followed with him throughout his entrepreneurship. Vick was a loving person with a heart of gold who would help anyone.
