Obituary of Kobie Akil Olden
Kobie Akil Olden was on born November 21, 1990 in Baltimore, Maryland to Scott Olden and Angella (Barnett) Olden. He entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 and leaves a legacy of love for his parents, Shomari Olden (brother), Joi Olden (sister-in-law), Sarai Olden (niece), Venris and Una Barnett (grandparents), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
We, the family, leave you with a memorable statement that Kobie would say to make us laugh: "I love you more, and more, and more" and this meant to us that his love is always abounding.
A private funeral service for the family will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services located at 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, Maryland. Wake at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Pikesville, Maryland.
To celebrate Kobie Olden's life with family and friends, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodlawn Park Church of Christ in Baltimore, Maryland. Please visit the church website (www.woodlawnpark.org) for further information.
A scholarship will be created in the future to honor Kobie Olden's legacy of mentoring and developing young adults. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please provide a donation to My Brother's Keeper (www.mbkinc.org).
