Dear Shirley, When my daughter was selected to go in the Magnet Program at Deer Park Middle many years ago, I was just lost and confused where to go or whom to see at the school. My child was frustrated and to my surprise there was your husband. He was such a big help in telling me what to do and where to go. It was reassuring to say the least. I later watched him with other parents and he took such good care of everyone. I never forgot how kind Chris was. Funny, to my surprise, our paths crossed again and I got to meet Chris and you formally through Sandy and Earthcele years later.. I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and Brittany. That I will miss the fellowship and times spent with friends. Chris was very kind to a number of families who came to Deer Park and he was always a gentleman and very caring. I never shared this with you when we were at social gatherings and I always wanted to tell both of you this. You are in my prayers and please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. My wife and I taught at Deer Park in the late 90s, early 2000s. Mr. Christian was always uplifting in spirit and such a warm and loving man. We last spoke with him when helping our former student set up his own classroom. He was able to recall us by name after all that time. We will miss him. Eric and Carrie Smith

To the family of Chris, let it be known that God has played an important part in Chris's life and we were glorified through it all, and now he has moved on to higher calling for the greatness of life and eternity. So, let us not grieve, but rejoice, and Chris knows. And I want you to all to know that Sharon, Indira and I welcome the family and him into our lives passing through this earth.
