My beloved Godmother, In the the arms of an angel you flew away on the 22nd to beautiful rest. You would always ask me what am I doing? And when I respond with what I planned to do, you would say," don't wait too long" and sadly again I waited, planning to see you summer but you went home before and that brings me to tears, I miss you ms. Aunty Enid, Death is never easy to handle, and losing you brings so much pain to not only myself but to the entire family. I wish I was there to spend more time with you, even if it was just to sit and talk for a few minutes. But I know you will be in heaven when those pearly gates open, you were a God fearing woman and you loved to serve him wholeheartedly! Even in this sad time of your passing, you still manage to inspire me to walk the straight and narrow path with the Lord even more to make sure I make it there myself so I can see you again. Although most of our memories are from when I was younger, thank you for all your words of wisdom, and for all your well wishes for me. You were a light that shined bright and your kindness and pure heart always showed in how you cared for your family. Aunty Enid, It’s so tough to handle the news of your passing. You were an amazing woman and I know you loved the Lord just as much as you loved your family. The times that I was able to sit with you and talk with you, I knew you had an amazing love for me because you would show it in every aspect of everything you did. You we’re so funny and always had a joke to tell. I will miss that. I haven’t been able to see you since I was very young but I definitely remember your love and care and all of the encouraging words you would share with Little me. Oh how I wish that I would’ve been able to be by your side before this sad news passed our ears. Your kindness and genuine love will never be forgotten. Aunt Enid, Words will never express how I feel knowing that you're no longer here with us. I'm grateful that I was able to see you and talk to you before God decided it was time for your eternal rest. Thank you for loving me, caring for me, and for being an example of a true fighter. I will forever miss us eating watermelon (your favorite) together and hearing your infectious laugh. God broke our hearts antie, but it was only to prove to us that He only takes the best.
