Rest in the Loving Arms of God "Sherrell"
Today I am reminiscing the early years of our childhood when GraMa "grandmother"would care for us while our parents worked. Our siblings would go out and play after the sun went down. you and I would stay inside and play "Teacher". GraMA would fix us both a large plate of butter beans with hot biscuits and a cold glass of lemonade.
I recall when I accompanied you, my mom wanted me to join your Girl Scout troop...I had stranger anxiety ( I was fearful of people I did not know) and you remained close to me the entire meeting.
Also, you would sing...I would ask you to sing and you would sing as if you were lead singer in an opera...Though we were so young - your voice soothe me. Today I love the symphony and operas because the music is soothing.
My memories of our childhood were funny and awesome ... "we would hush our brothers" ROTFL (hush - Ssh!) - They would reply by telling us we are not grown. LOL!!! ( GraMa would allow us to hush them as she watched the Soap Operas) - Lol.
As adults we made few memories, we embraced our journeys, education, marriage, care of our parents - families. I believe that Christians do not die...Christians Rest from Their Labor. Rest :)
As you already know - I will continue looking our for your Mom and Cousin Earlene - The Lord being my Strength, The Lord being my Helper :)
