Obituary of William Lane Cole, Sr.

William Cole, Sr, who went by Bill, was born in 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland and passed away on January 06, 2020. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Dewey and Lucretia Cole, his wife Jane F. Cole, brothers Charles Cole and Lee Cole, and his son-in-law Patrick Nadolny. Bill is survived by his wife Kandi Cole, his children, Melody Nadolny, Erin Baker, William L. Cole, Jr., son-in-law Robert Baker, daughter-in-law Jennifer Cole, grandchildren Steven Baker, Christopher Baker, Casey Nadolny, Nicholas Nadolny, Lane Cole, and John Cole and great grandson Beckham Nadolny. He is also survived by his brother, Edward Cole, and his wife, Patti. Bill was a loving step-father to Ellen Deford, George Hubbard, Christopher Hubbard, Adam Hubbard, and Bruce Hubbard. Bill was fondly known as "Pop-Pop Bill" to his many step-grandchildren. Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his work ethic, his willingness to give of himself and his time to help others, his ability to sleep anywhere, and most of all for his incredible dance moves especially when his favorite, "Rocky Top" came on, often by request! Dance on "Crazy Legs", until we meet again! A viewing will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133). The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Cole, Sr. will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, Randallstown, MD (21133), where family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery Friday, January 10, 2020 immediately following services.
