I was sorry to hear about the passing of Louis Thompson. My heart goes out to both Rae and Danny Thompson. I first met Mr. Thompson when he and Mrs. Thompson moved in the house behinds my family's house, around 1964. Mr. Thompson was one of the most laid back individuals I had ever met. He never appeared to be rattled or shaken by anything or get upset. Mr. Thompson always appeared to be very calm and have a calming effect, at least when I was around him. Although it has been many years since I was around him, any time I heard his name or even thought about Mr. Thompson (as I thought or drove by the old neighborhood) a calming effect would come over me and I am forever glad to have known him. May he rest in peace.
