I am the friend of Diana (Rice) Taylor of over 25 years. She and i grew up together in South Baltimore. I came to meet Mr. James through Dee and Aunt Lauretta (Ma). Mr. James would always impart his wisdom upon us, usually around the times we were trying to go out to the movies or party. We would try to leave the house in a hurry or moan/groan because we knew his “talks” were going to be sooo long. In retrospect, I realize we were too young to really appreciate what he was giving us. As an adult, you realize how invaluable that wisdom is. Mr. James was always there to help us girls anytime we needed. He was also a help to my family as well.
Mr. James was always the kindest, most thoughtful, knowledgeable man, a mirror image of his wife Lauretta.
From the Little family, we extend our prayers and love to the entire family.
