As a lifelong neighbor on Mt. Olivet Lane, I give my condolences to the family in this time of sorrow. Mr. Simmons was always there with a helping hand, a word of advice and as a good example of taking care of business. I am glad to know that Mr. Simmons trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. For believers, The Bible says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord: 2 Corinthians 5:8. He will be missed by those neighbors who were blessed to know him.
