I only learned of his passing today as I was reading about his wife, and came across an article saying that he had passed on in 2019. Belated condolences to my hero, Ernestine Shepherd, and to the family. I didn't know Mr. Shepherd, but as a fan of his wife, I learned of him and his amazing and unwavering support of his wife. He seemed like such a good man, and supportive husband, and I can see from the others' comments, that he was a kind and supportive person to everyone. This verse came to mind:
Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)
31:.... but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

I remember him being such a quite reserved man on a cruise with his wife Earnestine she had all these people around her wanting to take pics which I did and I thought what an amazing man to allow her to shine

I never met Mr. Shepard personally but seeing what a dedicated husband he was to his wife Ernestine made me admire his love for her and his family. I will remember videos of seeing him support Ernestine on her fitness journey by preparing her breakfast and sometimes running with her. His love will remain with every life he touched. May God be with his family during this difficult time.

We had a wonderful uncle,
One who never really grew old;
His smile was made of sunshine ,
And in his cheeks fair roses you see .
We had a wonderful uncle,
And that's the way it will always be.
But take heed , because
He's still keeping an eye on all of us,
So let's make sure
He will like what he sees.
We are going to miss you uncle Sheph
Rest in Peace !!!

Dear Mrs. Shepherd and Family:
It was with much sadness that I learned of the passing of your love one. Mr Shep was with me when I first started working at Union 10 years ago. It was also a joy when I met you and was part of your exercise classes.
We didn't do a lot of movement, but I could feel the workout the next day. I love you very much. Gerald sends his love too.

Dear Ernestine and Family:
We offer our deepest sympathy in the return to his heavenly Father of your beloved Collin. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you and the family during this difficult time.
The happiness and joy he brought to all of you will live on. Because his life gave you memories too beautiful to forget. Collin may be gone from this world, but he will never be gone from your heart. The moments of love will forever be alive, and the memories that you shared will forever remain. Remember that Collin will always be as close as a memory, and the God of all comfort will always be as close as a prayer.
"Blessed are they that mourn, for they will be comforted." (Mt. 5:4)
