Mrs. Vernessa Joyce Lester, age 83, of Reisterstown, transitioned Monday, July 29, 2019 at Esther's Place at the Park in Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Lester was born May 3, 1936 in Vigilina, Virginia and was married to the late Mr. James Edward Lester. Mrs. Lester was a Claims Assistant with the Federal Government. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133). The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lester will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD (21133), where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with services to follow. The interment will take place at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 1:45 p.m.
