Community Focus: Northwest Hospital

Vaughn Greene Funeral Services is deeply invested in the Baltimore communities we serve. We believe in giving back—through our time, our talent, and our treasure — to the wonderful people and businesses that make up our communities.

We have a long history with Northwest Hospital, located in the Baltimore area, and are proud to have funded two key construction efforts in the facility. Several years ago, Vaughn Greene Funeral Services sponsored the complete renovation of a new chapel space within the hospital’s lobby. The nondenominational space provides a place where families can convene to pray, meditate or simply rest in a warm, comforting environment.

In our most recent philanthropic effort, Vaughn Greene Funeral Services donated a private area within Northwest Hospital where families can gather following the immediate loss of a relative. The room was commissioned with the realization that families often desire to spend a few solitary moments with their deceased loved one before leaving the care of the hospital. The room has been extremely well-received and many visitors have noted that it is a valuable addition to the hospital.
