Obituary of Capricia Rochelle Parker
Capricia Rochelle Parker, affectionately known as Peaches, was born on October 19, 1977 to Rochelle Gilmore and the late John Gilmore. She departed this life suddenly on December 18, 2022.
Peaches was educated in the Baltimore City School System and obtained her high school diploma from Northern High School in 1995.
Having been employed by M&T Bank, Peaches previously worked for Provident Bank for years before M&T Bank acquired them. She held various positions, obtaining several promotions and most recently worked as an underwriter for the SBA department.
Peaches loved the Lord. Just days before her untimely passing, she stated "GOD is a must in life… u have to have a relationship with Him. We cannot handle this life on our own."
Peaches was known for her beautiful smile and kind heartedness she exemplified towards everyone she met. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Peaches created long lasting friendships throughout her years. She especially loved spending time with her favorite cousin/sister, Blair and sister, Gemline.
She cherished her relationship with her mother and made sure she always did something special for her. She had a very special bond with her brother Sean.
Peaches loved and adored her son Marvin Jr. She would often plan a mother and son date with him monthly. She made it known to everyone how proud she was of the man he had become and all of his accomplishments . She often said, "He is my everything."
On October 4, 2018, she married Dominick Parker. She looked forward to hanging out with her husband and going to his large family gatherings.
Peaches was preceded in death by her father, the late John Gilmore, and her oldest brother Johnny Gilmore.
Peaches leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Dominick; son Marvin Jr.; step-son, Kevon; mother, Rochelle ; brother, Sean; sister, Gemlyne; brothers-in-law, Winston and Tyrone; sisters-in-law, Faith, Shaniqua (Davon); aunt, Johnnie Quill; uncle, James Gilmore (Faye) and James Johnson; special cousins, Blair and Aunt Pat; god-sons, Daniel, Khalil; childhood friend/sister Nikki; best friends, Syreta and Chanel; a host of cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - EAST (4905 York Rd. 21212) on Thursday, January 5, 2023, 4:00 - 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - RANDALLSTOWN on Friday, January 6, 2023, with the wake beginning at 10:00 AM and the ceremony to follow at 11:00 AM. The interment will take place at Arbutus Memorial Park.
