Obituary of Maurice Kelvin Washington

Maurice Kelvin Washington, son of Mary and George Washington, was born August 3, 1963, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland. Maurice departed this life, on December 26, 2021, at 9:15pm, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 58 years old. Maurice received his education at Lake Clifton High School. After school, Maurice worked at several jobs around Baltimore; to include jobs at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Town & Country Management Company, and Brehms Lane Elementary School.
Maurice was a kind, understanding, charismatic, lovable, and devoted person. He touched the heart and soul of so many people. His compassion, and concern for people was evident in his willingness to help them.
He leaves to mourn, his parents, Mary and George Washington Sr., two sons: Maurice Washington Jr., and Tavon Washington, a close friend and confidant, Sharon Wilson, five grandchildren: Damiya, Paien, Zyah, Kyrie, and Kamari, two sisters: Mortreese Blair, and Hope Washington, two brothers: George Washington Jr., and Michael Washington, four aunts: Linda Baker, Roxanne Washington, Florine Royster, and Sandra Royster, two uncles: Robert Washington Jr., and Andrew Washington, a close cousin, Warren Baker, a brother-in-law, Bennie Blair, a sister-in-law, Rose Washington, a long time family friend, Damian Wilson, and a host of other relatives, and good friends.
A public viewing will take place at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - EAST Sunday, January 9, 2022 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
