Obituary of Darrell Lee Barker

Darrell Lee Barker was born to the late Willie Ed Hicter and Georgia Lee Barker in Metro Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee on June 25, 1963. He transitioned from this life on May 13, 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland. Darrell spent some of his younger years in Clarksville, Tennessee where he attended a public school in Tennessee and furthered his education with success. Darrell eventually mastered the profession of becoming a detailer for automobiles. He took great pride in detailing cars so much they would look showroom floor clean! Darrell also professed a hope in Christ at an early age at St. John Baptist Church in Tennessee. His belief system, thoughts and actions revealed who Darrell was a person, friend, husband, brother, nephew, son and grandfather. Darrell leaves behind to cherish his memories and loving spirit the following persons: His Loving Wife- Rhonda Smith-Barker, Brother- Edward Barker, UncleReverend Herchel L. Owens and his wife Ann, His Loving pet- REDS, Stepdaughter- Dorine Harvell, Stepson- Rodney Jones Sr., StepdaughterSharon Patterson and Husband Justin, Stepdaughter- Brittnie Jones, Devoted Niece-Precious Banks and Husband Tony, Devoted and True Friends: James Settles, Robert Johnson, Will Smith, William Young and Carl Dotson.Grandchildren- Jadin Jones, Janayla Patterson, Dyshaun Harvell and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his adopted Father James Barker, Sister Carolyn McCord, Tanzarine Barker, Brother Maurice Owens, Stepson Curt Jones Jr. and Mother-in-law Vernell Scott.
