The nickname would follow her through her entire adult life. She was known for being the crazy sister because she always had an opinion and was not afraid to say how she felt. Tanya was great at being her authentic self. She owned who she was unapologetically. She lived with no regrets and truly believed in the pursuit of personal happiness; despite of the opinions of other people.. To know her, is to love he. She enjoyed having a good time. Of course in her eyes ; a good time could range from a full day of sleep , a day full of good laughs, french fry sandwiches and her attempt at dancing. Tanya enjoy spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching movies, hanging out at home and having drinks. She was a great cook and her favorite colors were green and red. She took pride in being able to take care of herself and the people that she loved. Work ranged from working at daycare, to private cleaning services and then to custodial services at BWI where she would spend 10 plus years. Tanya would always say " handle your business. " No matter what was going on, she believed that you stand up straight and you push through. Other then being a strong, hard working, opiniated and fun time, Tanya had a heart of gold. She would do anything for the people that she loved. She worked reluctantly, and diligently at providing her family with better opportunities. She was always good at being a shoulder you could cry on, an ear that would listen or the person carrying a bat if that's what you needed ! Tanya embodied the definition of strength, resilience, and love. Penny was a great daughter, sister, aunt, friend and the best mother in the entire world!
