On March 17, 2021, God called his Angel home. Her name was Melissa
Darlene Johnson. She was born on June 12, 1960 to the late, James and

How do I begin? Melissa was the fourth born of six.
She received her education in the Baltimore City school system. After
graduation she attended beauty school. Melissa worked for Goetze
Caramel for 10 years as well as various other jobs throughout her life.
The spiritual meaning of the name Melissa is one of a lover, nurturer,
diplomat , truth holder and caretaker. A person that's adored greatly by
those who knew her beyond Missy, Liz, Lissy, Nona, Mom were all the
names she answered too. Melissa was one of a kind, family oriented and
a beautiful soul. She always had an answer, no matter the situation she
was there to help.
Melissa served as a parent volunteer at her kids school throughout their
education. Melissa was a gentle soul who always made you smile and
laugh. She was not for the weak if you know what I mean. Melissa was
known for stylish attire, she definitely was a show stopper. Melissa was
never one to be selfish, she gave her family and friends her all.
