Q: What will you never forget about Victoria?
A: Every time I pull into my driveway, I still find myself looking toward your house, Mrs. Vicky… hoping, just for a moment, to hear your voice call out, “Hi Debbie.” And when the silence answers back, my heart breaks all over again.
You were never just a neighbor to me—you were family. You were like a mother in the way you cared, the way you listened, and the way you made me feel truly loved. That kind of love is rare, and I will always be grateful that I found it in you.
I miss our conversations more than I can put into words. The stories you shared with me about you and Mr. Warren, the laughter we had, and those simple, everyday moments that somehow meant everything… I carry them with me now. They live in my heart as a reminder of how special you are to me.
There is a space in my life that only you could fill, and losing you has left an ache that never quite goes away. But even through the pain, I am so thankful—for your kindness, your wisdom, your warmth, and the love you gave so freely.
You will always be a part of me, Mrs. Vicky. And I will always look toward that house not only with sadness, but with love… because you were there, and you meant more to me than words could ever truly express.
