Richard Samuel Lyles, Sr., age 77, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2026, after a life well lived. Mr. Lyles was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 26, 1948. He had been employed as a supervisor for the USPS prior to retirement. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He will be missed by his family. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 7 2026, at Vaughn C. Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in the sanctuary of New Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1501 McCulloh Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21217. Wake will begin at 10:00 am and the homegoing service will follow beginning at 10:30am. The burial will follow the services in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
